We are on the plane I am headed to New York for my cousin’s reception.  My husband is headed back to base.  When I booked the flight around 1pm there were 19 open seats and by the time we got to the airport there were only 7 seats left with 9 non revs listed (that’s what we are called non revs)  I had booked us separately because we were going to two different final destinstions so he was number 2 on the SA list and I was number 9.  Thankfully the gate agent put us together on this flight so I upgraded to his non rev number.  Employees are ranked higher than spouses and children and friends then it goes in order of hire date.  So needless to say I made it on.

The reason I say I am headed to New York for now is because he should be going somewhere and if he does and it is good then I will go with him and not go to my cousin’s reception.  My mom knows that no matter what my plans if he goes somewhere good especially an international trip all bets are off and I will.go with him.  I will let you know how it goes when we land and if I get on the next flight to New York.
